F-it Fridays: Everyone Loves A Denim Jacket
If there is one universal piece of clothing that everyone needs, especially for fall, and legit flatters all body types, its the denim jacket. They are always on trend, comfortable and there are very few things they don’t work with. I even wear mine with activewear instead of a sweatshirt sometimes (for post-Pilates, not post-spin). Here are a few of my faves right now. Don't forget to f-it because it's Friday, buy yourself a treat for making it through the week.
J.Crew's Denim Jacket in Newton Wash is a happy medium between light and dark denim. Classically styled with well-curated details like these copper buttons, you can't really go wrong.
If you like a classic cut, but a stretch fabric, this DG2 by Diane Gilman Virtual Stretch Classic Denim Jacket checks all of the boxes. It's also affordable enough that if you drink too much at happy hour and leave it somewhere, you won't hate yourself in the morning. But, the person who steals it from you will be one stylish jerk.
If you can't decide between light and dark denim, why be forced to choose? Helmut Lang's Mixed Jean Jacket takes ombre to a new level and looks like it was designed to be an Instagram post.
Trucker style denim jackets are bigger than semis this year. I'm loving this one from BP by Nordstrom. Just don't accessorize with a trucker hat. That would be taking it too far.
If plain denim just won't do, check out this absolutely adorable patchwork jacket from BLANKNYC at Revolve.
BB Dakota's MIA Denim Jacket has a faux fur collar for those slightly windy fall days. Because the collar is detachable, it's like getting two jackets in one!
