F-it Fridays (Your Weekly Dose of Retail Therapy): Six Pieces You Need For Spring Right Now
I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but in Los Angeles, the winter is finally over. This has been the longest two months of my life since I moved here eight years ago. It's been non-stop cold and raining since the beginning of the year. I actually cried when I had to buy rain boots at Havaianas, which is a store where I normally buy flip-flops.
Now that the rain has stopped and I’m finally able to quit dressing in layers, I’m more excited than ever about spring fashion. Remember, it's never too early to start shopping for next season. And it's always an appropriate time to treat yourself, because f-it, it's Friday! Here are six must-have Spring pieces you need right now! ASAP! Seriously, not kidding!
Selfie Leslie Maxi Skort Romper
I have a floral skort romper from Forever 21 (shown in the picture above) that I bought two weeks ago, but it's already sold out. (I know, that sucks I can't wear it without stopped in the street.) So this one from Selfie Leslie at Forever 21 is the next best thing. Florals are everywhere this season and it's my personal belief that you can never have too many rompers. I like that this one has long sleeves, so it's perfect for slightly chilly nights, perhaps with a denim jacket.
Miss Selfridge Red Choker Neck One Shoulder Top
Super trendy, Miss Selfridge's choker neck one shoulder top is one of my faves. Miss Selfridge is a UK high street retailer that has just recently become available in the US. Wear this piece now with a motorcycle jacket over your shoulders.
Top Shop Zig Zag Pattern Dress
Featuring a fun, bold stripe pattern, this Top Shop dress makes the top of my list. It will look perfectly appropriate without outerwear until it's warm enough to be worn on its own.
J. Crew Tulle Ball Skirt
When I first saw J. Crew's Tulle Ball Skirt, I actually swooned. Incredibly versatile, it can be worn with a t-shirt, button down, or with something more formal for a big event. It's available in navy as well as a bright mint color. Maybe buy all three.
Sea Linen Tie Tank
Sea's yellow Linen Tie Tank is the color of the season. Beautiful and unique, this is a good investment top that will part of your regular wardrobe rotation for the summer.
Reebok Cardio Crop Top
If there's one trend I'm sure of this season, it's all things sheer. Reebok's crop top might be athleisure, but it's sexy and stylish enough to wear outside of the gym.
