Dressing Like The Stars: The People's Choice Awards 2017 Edition
When it comes to the People’s Choice Awards, it doesn’t really matter who wins or loses, as long as they look good on the red carpet. Honestly, I didn’t watch the show and couldn't even be bothered to find out who the winners were. As far as I'm concerned, the red carpet is the main event. After all, awards season isn't simply a time to watch a bunch of people you don't know give speeches you don't want to listen to. It's about finding new inspiration for those nights when you need to look extra fabulous (or at the very least, when you must get out of sweatpants). Luckily, you don't need a stylist or an unlimited bank account to dress like the stars. Here are my favorite looks from the event last night alongside some similar, more affordable styles that will make you look so good, you might just get chased by the paparazzi (your friend with one of those cameras not designed to make phone calls).
Blake Lively
Blake Lively topped all of the best dressed lists in Elie Saab. Top everyone at your next event in these fringe-tastic dresses by Aidan Mattox and French Connection.
Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra made everyone blush in Sally LaPointe, but you can make everyone swoon in Misa and Forever 21.
Ruby Rose
Blaze the red carpet (or the carpet at your office) like Ruby Rose in her Veronica Beard suit with these lookalikes from Vince Camuto and Express.
Ashley Greene
Ashley Greene went purple in Jeffrey Dodd. These dresses from Adrianna Papell and Diane Von Furstenberg share the same stylish, but reserved vibe at a fraction of the price.
Fifth Harmony
This might be the only time Fifth Harmony can be described as neutral. Look equally harmonious in these fabulous frocks by Reverse, Paper Crown and Amsale.
Keltie Knight
Own the night like Keltie in your own striking green dress from Women's Social or Boohoo.
Lilly Singh
Look anything but lame in lamé in Topshop and Nicole Miller.
