Dressing Like The Stars: Grammys 2017 Edition
The Grammys are generally one of the most interesting nights for awards show fashion because we always expect artists to take risks and shock us. It’s fair to say that every risk with the exception of one really paid off last night. Overall, the red carpet felt more like a runway. With so much high fashion, the vibe was more like the Oscars than the Grammys. Think old Hollywood and less old time rock and roll. Here are some of my favorite looks from the event and similar styles more appropriate for those who give concerts in the smallest of venues, like their showers.
Adele
Adele was a green goddess in Givenchy. You'll want to say hello to these green dresses from 3.1 Phillip Lim and Ali & Jay.
Jennifer Lopez
Charli XCX
Charli XCX rocked the red carpet in Vivienne Westwood. Rock your own event in these ravishing dresses by Faviana and Nicole Miller.
Keltie Knight
Keltie Knight has never looked more stunning. Her Burberry dress shines bright. Consider her style your guide in this dress by Missguided or Amanda Uprichard.
Heidi Klum
Soundz
Styled by Ali Levine, Soundz aka the guy who produces Justin Bieber's music, took over the red carpet in a custom burgundy suit from Klein, Epstein and Parker (not to be confused with a law firm of the same name). If you don't have Bieber money (or Bieber girls, or that cool haircut), cover Soundz' style with a tuxedo jacket and pants from ASOS.
Tinashe
Tinashe had lots of panache in Alexander Wang. Cut out and copy her look with Halston Heritage's Hi Lo Crepe Dress .
Margaret Cho
The Fashion Police's Margaret Cho looked anything but lame in a lamé pantsuit. Go for the gold in this blazer from Sinéquanone.
